High Uric Acid and Diet Plans

Diet plan for patients with high uric acid is a common concern.

Here I have divided the diets as 3 –

  • Food that will increase uric acid very much and so it should be completely avoided in life
  • Food that moderately increases uric acid and it can be taken in less amount
  • Food that is very safe

The actual problem happens when you have high sugars and high uric acid. In such patients reduce the rice items also from your diet.

Vegetables like spinach, asparagus, peas, and cauliflower should be reduced, even though its helpful for sugars, it can moderately increase your uric acid.

Some fruits though can be used in high uric acid levels, but cannot be used in excess for diabetic patients.
