JN 1 COVID Virus– the old villain with new forms

After the 3rd wave of COVID it has been around a year that the world remained calm without spurts of COVID related threats. But since December 2023 Indians are been on alert for the new variant of Corona virus- namely COVID JN1 virus.
It is currently a concern and is considered as a variant of interest by World Health Organization because globally there are significant number of people infected with COVID JN1 virus.
